When Jane and Eric got engaged last year, Jane shared with me her dreams of a picnic style wedding and the beautiful simplicity of the gathering of friends and family. Together, Jane and Eric picked the perfect quiet spot on Wye Island and began crafting their day.
Jane dreamed of homemade jams to give as favors to the guests and Eric wanted his brother as grill master while both of them agreed it would be so special to invite guests to bring their favorite dishes to share for the meal. The result was a personal, joy-filled day with every guest feeling involved and invested in the union of Jane and Eric. After the ceremony, Eric caught my attention and beaming said “Did you see how the sun came out right as Jane walked down the aisle?” I did see it, in fact, I think you will be able to see it to. It is wonderful to know people like Jane and Eric and to see how deep their love is for one another.
