Ashley and Jimmy in St.Thomas

After I shot Ashley and Jimmy’s engagement photos, they asked me to come to St. Thomas to photograph their destination wedding. Needless to say, I was very much up for the adventure. Ashley and Jimmy are two of the most laid back, fun people I have met and their wedding was a reflection of that in every way. Not only did they choose an island getaway for the main event, but they decided that their reception would be on the water, on a catamaran, and include a snorkeling expedition with the local sea turtles. I even had the chance to jump in myself and float about 2 feet away from a giant sea turtle!! What wedding photographer gets to do that?! Their wedding is one I will never forget for so many reasons, but most of all they made every bit of it uniquely them, a quality that I deeply admire. Enjoy a few of my favorites from St.Thomas!
